The van Straaten Gallery was founded in 1969 by William van Straaten in Chicago. Dedicated to offering only the highest quality paintings, drawing, prints, photographs and other works on paper, the gallery offers works by major contemporary artists of national and international repute, as well as a handful of promising emerging artist.

The gallery serves a national clientele from its recently acquired location in Denver's popular Santa Fe Art District.

Van Straaten's clientele consists of private collectors, museums and corporate collectors. Over the years, van Straaten Gallery's clients have included the Metropolitan Museum and MOMA in New York, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Bank of America, A.T. Kearney, Hallmark Cards and several accounting, architectural and law firms.
